Lane
emergingReal practice, thin evidence. Mostly vendor-stated or reported rather than measured.
A working session — agent or human — in its own workspace on its own branch, holding exactly one work item. Lanes commit on their branch and stop; integration belongs to whoever routed them. The vocabulary is not standardised: other systems say teammate, worker, or agent. What is standard is the constraint underneath it — two workers editing one file leads to overwrites, so the work has to be broken up until each owns a different set of files.
